The Bell tower was built in late Tang Dynasty. It is two-story with gable- and-hip roof, square in shape. The building covers an area of 170 m2.
The bell tower was proclaimed a national key protected cultural unit in 1988, at the same time; the state council approved to repair it back to its original shape. The project was completed in 1990.
There is a bronze bell of 2.6 meters high on the second floor, which was made in Tang Dynasty. The tallness of the bell is 1.55 meters and the thickness is 15 centimeters. [an error occurred while processing this directive]
