    Day 1 Hometown Beijing
      Starting your tour by taking flight to Beijing. Cross the International Date Line. Lose one day on the road.
    Day 2 Arrive Beijing
      Arrive in Beijing, the capital city of China. Your tour guide will greet you at the airport arrival hall and then transfer to your deluxe hotel for a good night`s rest.
    Day 3 Beijing (B, L, D)
      Beijing served as the capital of 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years. Start your city tour with a visit to the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Next stop is the Forbidden City. This complex, the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace ever built in the world, features more than 800 buildings with 9999 rooms, resplendent golden-glazed roofs, red lacquered pillars and vermilion walls. In the afternoon, continue your tour to the Temple of Heaven, which was used by Emperors to offer sacrifices to heaven and pray for good harvest in ancient times. In the evening, enjoy a fabulous Peking Roast Duck Banquet. Back to hotel for rest or attend an optional energetic show-- "Legend of Kung-fu" at your own expense.
    Day 4 Beijing (B, L, D)
      This morning, you`ll also have an opportunity to shop at the largest Jade Center of Asia. The highlight today is a trip to the astonishing Great Wall at Juyongguan Pass. More than 12,000 Kilometers in total, the Great Wall is the most famous image of China throughout the world. It is the only manmade object visible from the moon, and as one of the Eight Wonders of the world, it is also a symbol of Chinese traditional culture and the pride of the Chinese nationality. After lunch, see skilled artisans at work at a Cloisonne Factory. Then take motor coach to the Ming Tombs and visit the Changling Exhibition Hall. Back to city, walk along the New Qianmen Street and have a outside view of the beautiful Bird`s Nets and Water Cube up close. After dinner, cap off the day by attending a superb performance of Chinese Acrobatic Show.
    Day 5 Beijing (B, L)
      In the morning tour to the exquisite Summer Palace (Imperial Garden), the largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer resort for Emperors and the chosen few, with a boat ride on Lake Kunming (weather permitting). A shopping visit to a Silk Carpet Shop followed by lunch. You`ll have your afternoon free to explore the city by yourself. You may choose to join our optional Experience the Hutong Life Tour: a special journey exploring the ancient Beijing Alley District by a pedi-cab, plus a visit to a local family and a local market; or just pace yourself in the Wang-fu-jing Business Street, also called Gold Street. With hundreds year of history, it is the best place to capture the historical and modern cultures of Beijing. Today`s dinner will be on your own.
    Day 6 Beijing Xi`an (B, L, D)
      Fly to Xi`an in the morning. Xi`an was the first Chinese city opening up its doors to the world during the Tang Dynasty. Over a period of more than 2000 years, Xian was the capital for eleven dynasties. Upon arrival, you will go to visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, sightseeing the attached life-sized defending army to the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. It is regarded as "the eighth wonder of the world" and among the top archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Visit an Art Ceramics Factory before we enjoy the special local Imperial Dumpling Banquet Dinner and the traditional Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Show in the evening.
    Day 7 Xi`an (B, L, D)
      Visit the Shanxi Provincial Historical Museum in the morning. Enjoy a local special noodle lunch and watch Noodle Making Performance. After lunch visit the Ancient City Wall which is not only the most complete city wall that has survived in China, but also one of the largest and most complete ancient military defense systems in the world. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of the city. It is said to have been built to house and protect Buddhist scriptures collected by the Chinese monk, Xuan Zang, the key figure in «Journey to the West».
    Day 8 Xi`an Hangzhou (B, L, D)
      Leave Xi`an for Hangzhou by air this morning. Hangzhou is a city with a rich history and culture. Marco Polo described this place as "the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world". Upon arrival, take the boat cruise on the magnificent West Lake, the symbol of the city. In the afternoon, continue your tour to visit the Yellow Dragon Cave, and taste the well-known Dragon Well Tea at the No.1 tea plantation. Enjoy local cuisine dinner in the evening.
    Day 9 Hangzhou Wuzhen Town Wuxi (B, L, D
      This morning, take motor coach to Wuzhen Town, a quiet water town with 1300 years history. When more and more well known small water towns in south of Yangtze River, such as Zhou-zhuang Village, have become modern and commercialized, Wuzhen Town is one of the few that still retain their quiet and nature characters of typical Chinese water towns. That is why we take you here. Take a paddle-wood-boat ride across the small water town to feel its serenity, peacefulness, and subtle beauty. In the afternoon take motor coach to Wuxi, a unique water village and a pearl situated in the center of China`s Yangtze Delta. Wuxi is famous for its landscapes which there are truly something to marvel at. Your tour starts with a visit to the beautiful Turtle Head Peninsular Park, where you can enjoy the beauty of the Lake Tai, the largest fresh water lake in China. Then visit the Liyuan Garden. Liyuan Garden, with its pavilions, corridors, and causeways at the lake side, is exquisitely designed and harmonious in color. Visit the Freshwater Pearls Farm before we taste delicious local cuisines served for your dinner today including Wuxi Pork Ribs with special sauce.
    Day 10 Wuxi Shanghai (B, L, D)
      After breakfast, take motor coach to Shanghai, the modern metropolis and commercial center of China. Upon arrival, start your memorable tour of Shanghai by walking along the famous Bund, a mile-long stretch along the Huangpu River. Lined by the colonial architectures of European design, this area is the best place to capture the western influences of the old days. Continue to visit the Ming Dynasty Yuyuan Garden which is considered to be one of four greatest Chinese gardens. Our final stop will be the bustling shopping district, Nanjing Road. After dinner you may take optional tour, the Night Cruise on the Huangpu River at your own expense.
    Day 11 Shanghai (B, L)
      After breakfast, visit the Shanghai Museum to see the ancient Chinese art, furniture and jade. After ample time admiring the numerous exhibits, you`ll be given an opportunity to shop for the highest quality Silk Goods. This afternoon, we`ll leave it free for you at leisure. You may take the time to do some souvenir and gift shopping or explore this city on your own.
    Day 12 Shanghai Yichang (B, L, D)
      Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport in the morning and fly to Yichang at noon. Yichang is the economic and cultural center of China`s Hubei Province and serves as the starting point of your Yangtze adventure. Upon arrival you are transferred to the docks and board the luxury East King cruise ship. You will have introduction on all trip events and activities onboard.
    Day 13 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
      Your highly anticipated grand Yangtze River adventure starts this morning. The cruise ship`s first stop is at Taipingxi (or Sandouping). Disembark to visit the massive Three Gorges Dam Project, which is the world`s largest dam, measuring 606 feet high and 6,500 feet long. In 1997, the cofferdam was completed and the main structure begun. The dam has two five-stage locks to raise and lower ships to the different river levels. Each lock in the five stages is 65 feet high and 910 feet long. Reboard later as the ship sails through Xiling Gorge, the longest of the Three Gorges at 41 miles long and also its highest (4000 feet).
    Day 14 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
      Disembark at Wushan where you`ll board small riverboat for a leisurely ride through Shennong Stream, which offers clear running waters, picturesque rock formations, and even monkeys and goat along its banks. Reboard the East King cruise ship as it sails through Wu Gorge, which is famous for its quiet beauty and then passes through Qutang Gorge, the shortest and most dramatic of the Three Gorges.
    Day 15 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
      Today`s shore excursion will occur either at Fengdu or Wanzhou Relocation Villages, largely dependent on local river conditions. Fengdu, also called "Ghost City", is a peculiar site that is accessed via cable car. It contains numerous statues of devils and ghosts that roam the afterworld. Wanzhou Relocation Villages were formed due to the New Three Gorges Dam Project. Shore excursion to the village includes a visit to the Hope Elementary School.
    Day 16 Yangtze River Cruise / Chongqing Guilin
      Your grand Yangtze River Cruise portion of your tour ends upon arrival at Chongqing this morning. Get off board and take coach to the city center. Chongqing is the largest industrial and commercial city in Sichuan Province. During the Second World War, it was the headquarter for Chiang Kai-Shek and his nationalist government and also the base for the Flying Tigers who made their historic flights over the "Hump" (the Himalayan Mountain Range) to Burma. Visit the Panda House, the General Stilwell Museum and Eling Park. Enjoy famous Chongqing Hot Pot dinner in the evening and fly to Guilin in the evening. Transfer to hotel upon arrival.
    Day 17 Guilin Yangshuo (B, L, D)
      Take a boat cruise trip from Guilin along the Li River for one of the finest excursions on your tour of China. The journey downstream to Yangshuo offers 30 miles of breathtaking scenery. You may have an opportunity to catch the fascinating sights of fisherman with cormorant birds while enjoy your lunch on board. Arrive in the so called "Global Village" Yangshuo in the afternoon. Free time after getting to West Street. Situated at the center of Yangshuo, West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. It is greatly admired by foreigners for its simple style and courtyard-like setting. Surrounded by an array of traditional folks and amazing international elements, you`ll find West Street a terrific place to take a rest, both physical and psychological. Your time on the West Street is an experience to be with the landscape, with the people, and with the soul. After dinner, you can choose to attend an optional program: The large-scale live performance on the Li River--The Impression Sanjie Liu. This performance expresses the beautiful scenery of the Li River,the colorful culture of the ethnic groups in Guangxi and the brave imagination of the excellent artists in China. It is the first of its kind in the world.
    Day 18 Yangshuo Guilin (B, L, D)
      After breakfast, take a sightseeing car to explore the beautiful Yangshuo Local Village. Water buffalos, rice fields, the villagers working in the field and beautiful landscapes constitute a breath taking picture you`ll never forget. Enjoy special local recipes lunch before returning to Guilin by motor coach. Continue your tour to visit the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Reed Flute Caves where you`ll be impressed by the fantastic Karst limestone formations. Visit Guilin Art Gallery, the only comprehensive Art Gallery in Guangxi Province. In the evening, attend a Minority Folk Dance Performance after dinner.
    Day 19 Guilin Shenzhen Hong Kong (B, L)
      After breakfast, fly to Shenzhen which is situated immediately north of Hong Kong. In 1980s, Shenzhen grew seemingly overnight from nothing to a metropolis. The growth spurt came at the instigation of then-supreme Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping and remains the primary symbol of the reform and opening policy he initiated and has brought China`s rapid economic growth and earth-shaking changes. Have a brief city tour of this modern city and then take motor coach to Hong Kong after lunch. Check into hotel upon arrival. Free time afterwards. Today`s Dinner is on your own.
    Day 20 Hong Kong
      Hong Kong is called the "City of Life" and a destination that begs to be explored on tourist`s own pace. No activities have been scheduled for this day. Day at leisure to shop and explore on your own. You can also choose to join one of our optional tours, either a half day or a full day city tour.
    Day 21 Hong Kong Hometown / Extend Your Journey
      This morning, transfer to airport and fly back home. Or you may extend your stay in the vibrant Hong Kong for another day to further explore the fascination of the Asia`s world city; You may also consider to join one of our optional one day tour to Macau that is adjacent to Hong Kong or take advantage of the convenience from Hong Kong to explore the other parts of Asia for a shortest yet life-time journey that offers cross-cultural comparison and new perspective.
