Nativity
of Emperor Huangdi According to lots of historical writing and
cultural relics proof, located at the place 35 km away from the south
of Zhengzhou, Xuanyuan Hill is the birthplace of Emperor Huangdi (Yellow
Emperor, a legendary ruler in China), the Nativity of Emperor Huangdi
was built there. It was firstly built in the Han and Wei Dynasties
and renovated during all dynasties. In the main hall, there are the
sitting figure of the Emperor Huangdi in his middle age and the fresco
for describing the Emperor Huang's merits & virtues on four-side
walls. In which, the Emperor Huang's two concubines Luozu and Momu
are standing in east and west wing-rooms. Nowadays, it is the main
place for the descendants of the Emperor Yandi & Emperor Huangdi
at home and aboard to worship their ancestors with the endless stream
of pilgrims and lots of pilgrims search for things related to their
ancestors. |
