The Coupled pagodas. The one on the east, called
Zhenguo Ta, 48.24 m high, was built in 1250; the one on the
west, called Renshouta, 44.06 m in height, was built in 1237.
Both are of woodlike granite in the form octagonal plane five
stories, with five layers of eaves. Each of them has 80 images
of palace guards, heavenly chiefs, vajras and arhats, carved
in relief and adorned with superb decorative designs.
